Description of manuscript content:
Sakkapabba or Sakkaban (the section on Sakka or Indra) is the tenth section of the 13 sections of Veassantara Jataka. The content mentions about Sakka or Indra transformed as a Brahmin and bagged Princess Maddi from Vessantara. Vessantara gave Maddi to the Brahmin. Then the Bramin gave Maddi back and also eight blessings to Vessantara such as may the people of the Sivi city forgive him and invite him back home.
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed at the time of the evening drum. My handwriting is not beautiful. Please be very careful when using this manuscript. In CS 1265, a ka mao year, on the twelfth waning-moon day of the tenth [lunar] month, the third day of the week, at the time of birds coming back home, I wrote this Dhamma manuscript titled Mahārāja. May the merit derived from doing so support me and my family members.
Other notes:
