Description of manuscript content:
Nagara or Nakhon (entering the city) is the 13th of the 13 episodes of the Vessantara Jataka. The text tells of Vessantara who abandoned his ascetic robe and left his hermitage. The prince dressed in royal attire and returned to Sivi. He ruled his kingdom with royal virtue and died at the age of 120 years. He entered the Tusita Heaven as the male Deity Santusita.
Colophon:
In CS 1225, a ka khai year, on the third day of the week, Sīvijaya wrote the manuscript with his own hand. I completed the manuscript on the ninth waning-moon day of the twelfth [lunar] month during my stay of assistance to Sawathu Cao Luang Chai.May the merit be transferred to my family members.
