Nibbāna paccayo hotu me niccaṃ anāgate ariyametteyya santike May the merit [derived from writing this manuscript] definitely support me and my family members to be reborn in the period of the Metteyya Buddha. [The writing of this manuscript] was completed in CS 1240, a poek yi year, on the eleventh waning-moon day of the tenth [lunar] month, a Thursday, at the time of thr morning drum. Khanan (ex-monk) Yana wrote the manuscript with his own hand at Ban Cedi Yang Som, Nòng Phak Waen, Dong Khoei. My handwriting is totally not beautiful. Please do not laugh at me.
