Description of manuscript content:
Padumamukkha, a poor orphan living in Benares, climbed on a fig tree, one day, and found an egg out of which came a beautiful young lady who helped him, from then on, to earn his living. Having noticed that Padumamukkha's wife was very beautiful, the village chief went to speak of her to King Brahmadatta. The latter sent the hero to the land of the nagas to fetch him a golden lotus. Padumamukkha came back to Benares with three new wives a yakşa's daughter, a nagi and King mod ham1's daughter. Sent in quest of sesame seeds, the hero was helped by King mod ham1's daughter. King Brahmadatta did persecute the hero that he was finally swallowed by the earth. The palace dignitaries begged Padumamukkha to sit on the throne.
