Description of manuscript content:
Subrahmokkha had a nine-tailed dog. When his father died, he went to clear a plot in the forest. Indra came down to earth to help him and gave Miss khai Fa to be his wife. The king of Matura Nagara who coveted the hero's wife, sent him to look for a lotus blossom in the land of the nagas. Along the way, the hero married King of ant's daughter and the daughter of the king of nagas. When the king died, he was asked to ascend the throne.
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed on the fifth day of the week, at noon, on the seventh waning-moon day of the twelfth [lunar] month. May the merit derived from writing this manuscript be transferred to my family members. I am Surinda. CS 1267. I wrote this manuscript during my stay of assistance to Sawathu Khruba Sommana at Wat Si Bun Rüang Kaeo Kwang, surrounded by palm trees. May the merit derived from writing this manuscript reward me with sharp wisdom, confidence, and energy. My handwriting is not that beautiful and please let the remaining mistakes be. The letters are unstably small as hens’ eyes and big as buffalos’ eyes.
