Description of manuscript content:
Subrahmokkha had a nine-tailed dog. When his father died, he went to clear a plot in the forest. Indra came down to earth to help him and gave Miss khai Fa to be his wife. The king of Matura Nagara who coveted the hero's wife, sent him to look for a lotus blossom in the land of the nagas. Along the way, the hero married King of ant's daughter and the daughter of the king of nagas. When the king died, he was asked to ascend the throne.
Colophon:
In CS 1267, a dap sai year, on the sixth day of the week, at the time of the morning drum, on the second waxing-moon day of the twelfth [lunar] month, I, Monk Paññā, wrote the manuscript with my own hand during my stay of assistance to Sawathu Khruba Sommana. May the merit derived from writing the religious liturgical manuscript support me, my family members, and all my lay supporters. Sudinnaṃ vata me dānaṃ aho ovata me dānaṃ sabbavatthudānaṃ dhammasāsaneva vannavasamiṃ anāgate kāle nisinicaṃ āyu vaṇṇaṃ sukhaṃ balaṃ . My handwriting is not beautiful because the palm leaves are cracked. I tried my best because I really wanted great merit. May the merit be also transferred to deities, God Indra, Brāḥmā, Lord of Death, and Goddess of Earth.
