Chaliaochalat told several stories to the king of Champa: a story of a royal minister who, despite being predicted by an astrologer of death, survived different kinds of danger by his wisdom; a story of a man who gave a mango with snake venom to a king; a story of a hermit accused by a thief of stealing things; a story of a mongoose who fought against a cobra to death to protect a baby; and a story of a monk raped by a prostitute.
