Description of manuscript content:
Chaliaochalat gave several stories to the king of Champa: a story of a deaf family who quarreled with each other because they failed to clearly communicate; a story of a king who liked eating rice bran made by a female cook.
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed in CS 1265, a ka mao year, on the tenth waning-moon day of the eleventh [lunar] month, the third day of the week, at the time of the morning drum. Monk Canda wrote the manuscript. My handwriting is not beautiful. May I possess sharp wisdom and ability to understand the 84,000 collections of the Dhamma. May the merit derived from writing the manuscript support me and my family members. I wrote it during my stay of assistance to Sawathu Cao Sammaṇa at Wat Si Bun Rüang Ban Hong in Hariphuncahi.
