Description of manuscript content:
Chaliaochalat gave several stories to the king of Champa: a story of a daughter of a king who became a wife of a poor man who discovered a gold mine.
Colophon:
[The writing of this manuscript] was completed by me, Monk Yawichai, in early morning. Monk Yawichai and Monk Duang wrote this manuscript titled Chaliao Chalat, eighth fascicle. May two of us possess of sharp knowledge. Sudinnaṃ vatta me dānaṃ nibbāna paccayo hotu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ. CS 1265, a ka mao year, the fifth waxing-moon day of the first [lunar] month, the seventh day of the week. Please be very careful when using this manuscript.
