[The writing of this manuscript] was completed in late afternoon in CS 1288, on the eleventh waxing-moon day of the twelfth [lunar] month, a Friday. Monk Dhanañjaya wrote the manuscript during his stay of assistance to Thu Phi Luang Mahāvaṃsa at Wat Si Bun Rüang. May the merit derived from writing this manuscript be transferred to my family members, novices, and my teachers. I wish to attain Nibbāna in the future. May this wish become successful. Sudinnaṃ vatta me dānaṃ dhammadānaṃ jināti nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ hontu vo niccaṃ dhuvaṃ.
