I wrote this manuscript and dedicated the merit to my parents. [The writing of this manuscript] was completed in CS 1288, a rawai yi year, on the tenth waning-moon day of the second [lunar] month, the second day of the week, at noon. I, Novice Chu, wrote the manuscript during my stay of assistance to Thu Phi Luang Mahāvaṃsa. May the merit derived from writing the manuscript protect me and my family members. Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ hotu no niccaṃ.
