May the merit derived from writing this religious manuscript support me to be definitely reborn in the period of Metteyya Buddha. May I be endowed with sharp wisdom. Khanan (ex-monk) Teja wrote the manuscript with his own hand to dedicate the merit to Khruba Luang Sommana of Wat Luang Ban Hong in CS 1263, a ruang pao year, on the thirteenth waning-moon day of the fourth [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week.
