[The writing of this manuscript] was completed in CS 1261, a ka khai year, on the sixth day of the week, on the thirteenth waning-moon day of the fourth [lunar] month, at the time of the morning drum, by me, Kāvila, who wrote the manuscript to sustain the continuation of Buddhism 5,000 years. May this merit act like a big golden junk bringing me across the Cycle of Rebirths to reach Nibbāna.
