The text explains the ten principal virtues of a Bodhisatta which consist of Dāna (giving), Sīla (good conduct), Nekkhamma (renunciation), Paññā (wisdom), Viriya (energy), Khanti (forbearance), Sacca (truthfulness), Adhiṭṭhāna (determination), Mettā (loving-kindness) and Upekkhā (equanimity).

Thu Phò (monk) Phothiyano from Vat That had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of 12 manuscript-fascicles entitled Katha Makkha to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the benefits derived from the merit be a condition to support me in the future. May I be released from the five Maras (the five destroyers) and attain the path to Nirvana which I desire. Nibbāna paccayo hotu (May this be a condition to reach Nirvana).
