The text describes the merit derived from listening to the chanting of Sai Nòi (small victory) and from making a manuscript entitled Sap Sai. By making the manuscript of Sai Nòi, the sponsor would gain the same merit as from making thousands of Buddha statues. The Buddha said that "the ones who give food and water – it means they give energy; the ones who give clothes – it means they give beauty; the ones who give Dhamma – it means they give humanity, wisdom, and a way to escape from suffering.
