The manuscript contains the second chapter of the taqrīrāt (commentary) on the poem (nazham) Natījah al-Ādāb, on logic, especially on the ethics to be met during study and debate.
The Natîjah al-Âdâb itself is the work of Syaikh ‘Abd al-Malik b. ‘Abd al-Wahhâb al-Fitanî al-Makkî al-Madanî (d. 1332 H / 1913 AD), an ulama from Mecca who lived at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century.
The second text is a short note (risâlah) on the meaning of the munâzharah science in Arabic.
Colophon:

Other notes:
The main text Natījah al-Ādāb has interlinear glosses in Javanese in Pegon script while there are also taqrîrât or explanations in Arabic both coming from Kiyai Busyro Karim (d. 1977), the caretaker of Pesantren Keresek in Garut (West Java).
Kiyai Busyro Karim Keresek’s translation was copied by one of his students, Muhammad Sarkhasi of Gunungjaya, Cisaat (Sukabumi, West Java), on 5 Muharram 1359 (14 Februari 1940).
A note states that the manuscript changed hands from Muhammad Sarkhasi Gunungjaya to Acep Enoh, on 5 Dzulhijjah 1379 (31 May 1960).
Initally, the manuscript was kept by the family of Pesantren al-Qusyairiyyah (Salajambe, Cisaat, Sukabumi).
