The sermons have most likely been written by KH. Rd. Abdullah b. Husain (d. 1962) from Pesantren Pabuaran, Sukabumi. Although the name of the author is not mentioned in the text, its style resembles that of the sermons delivered by KH. Abdullah b. Husain Pabuaran as found in many of his manuscripts.
