Description of manuscript content:
Yanthun Thesana or Yandun (ill omen) for preaching. The text describes the virtue and power of Abhaya-paritta (the danger-free protection) explaining unlucky portents, omens, disturbing bird calls, distressing astrology and nightmares, and dissatisfaction causes. May all these be destroyed by the power of the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha. Recitation and listening to the Yandun are believed as protections against all dangers. Yandun is also used for chanting to make a holy water for sprinkling at a house ceremony.
