Description of manuscript content:

The text is a Javanese translation of the Kitāb Kifāyat al-‘Awām by Shaykh Muḥammad bin Shāfi’ al-Fuḍālī al-Azhārī in which the translator has included quotes from other works such as Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn by Abū Ḥamīd Muḥammad al-Ghazālī (d. 1111), al-Durar al-Bahīyah by Shaykh Abū Bakr Muḥammad Shaṭā al-Dimyāṭī (d. 1892), and works by Shaykh Khaṭīb Sharbīnī (d. 1570).

Colophon:

Thāmina min Sha’bān al-Jīm al-awwal. Sanat 1369 hijrati al-tabjīl. Kātib hādhīhī al-tarjamat Jazūlī. Dhū al-‘ijzi wa al-taqṣīri fī al-a’māl.

Other notes:
