The manuscript contains 4 texts: one on how to make calligraphy in Arabic script, a collection of prayers, the pedigree and the wirid of the Tarekat Naqshabandīyah, and a commentary on Surah al-Fātiḥah.

The cover states that the maker of the manuscript was ‘Abd al-Syakur bin ‘Uthmān who studied at the second level of the Tsanawiyah in Madrasah Dār al-Ulūm studying the topic Khaṭ al-Dīwānī. However, the text is not only concerned with Khaṭ al-Dīwānī but also with other topics.
