Description of manuscript content:

The manuscript contains a letter that was sent by Haji Ibrāhim bin Muḥammad Ṣūfī Lam Seunong to Teungku Chik Lampisang. The letter is about the plan to buy a Kitab Nahjah from Teungku Mad Hasan but there was not enough money.

Other notes:

At the end is stated that the letter is a reply to a letter that arrived on 30 Dhū al-qa’dah which was delivered by Keuchik Abbas Lam Alue. Page 1v offers information of the sending of the letter: Disampaikan orang yang kasih sayang ini surat kepada wajah yang mulia yaitu Teungku Chik Lampisang .
