Description of manuscript content:

The Buddha described Passacitta Kumari in detail the merit derived from giving alms and observing the precepts to. After the sermon, she was happy and told the Buddha that she had nothing to give him. Then the Buddha suggested her making a donation when she was able to but observing the precepts through her life. She agreed to follow the instruction.

Colophon:

Folio 24 on the recto side: In Cullasakkarat (CS) 1266, a poek si year, on the seventh day of the waxing moon of the fourth [lunar] month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), a hwai set day, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Xiang (ex-novice) Kham together with his wife and all siblings had the religious faith to jointly sponsor the making of this manuscript bundle entitled Maddu Anulom to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccaya hotu no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana).
