In the Buddha’s lifetime, there was a couple named Brahmani and Brahman Suvanna who lived in Aranyakham Village located not far from the Veluvana Monastery. One day, Brahmani saw a Bhikkhu with an ugly face and she made fun of him. After her death, she became an ugly ghost and watched her husband in his house.
