Description of manuscript content:
The fourth fascicle of the words of Patimokkha. The text was written in Pali and Lao in accordance with the Nissaya in which the text was written in Pali and verbatim translated into Lao.
Colophon:
Folio 22 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 1228, a hwai nyi year, on the second day of the waning moon of the seventh [lunar] month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a hwai sanga day, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Lamphu together with his wife and siblings had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Pha Paramisab to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all my wishes and desires be fulfilled. Nibbāna paccaya hotu no dhuvaṃ niccaṃ niccaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, constantly and certainly).
