The Buddha managed to help Angulimala (Pali: finger necklace) and put him under his guidance as his follower and bhikkhu. When the people of Savatthi saw Monk Angulimala begging for food, some were afraid and others were angry at him. Some scolded him and others harmed him by throwing stones at. The Buddha encouraged him to keep tolerance if he wished to attain the enlightenment.
