Description of manuscript content:
The text explains Tanhā (craving), Lobha (greed) and raga (lust) which are based on Moha (delusion). Tanhā (craving) consists of 3 elements including Kāma-tanhā (craving for sensual pleasure), Bhava-tanhā (craving for existence) and Vibhava-tanhā (craving for non-existence).
Colophon:
Folio 22 on the recto side: In Culasakkarat (CS) 11225 (correspond to CS 1225), a ka khai year, on the thirteenth day of the waning moon of the eleventh [lunar] month, the first day of the week (Sunday), a ka khai day, at the time of the morning drum (7:30–9:00), the writing of this manuscript was finished. Thao (Mr.) Si Bunma had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript bundle entitled Suliyavong to support the Teachings of the Buddha. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana).
