While residing at Mount Gijjhakuta near Rajgir, the Buddha delivered a sermon of Akaravatta Sutta to Sariputta Thera. The Sutta contains five verses starting from Navaradiguna Verse to Parami-datta Verse. The Akaravatta Sutta is more powerful than other suttas in preventing those who follow against harm. Those who always recall the sutta would be safe from various dangers and have cleaned minds. The person who listens, writes, recites, fallows and chants the text would be refrained from 30 kinds of dangers: ferocious animals, kings, water and fire, bad humans and devils, etc.
